Description
The assignments in this book are designed for use in courses at NQF Framework Level 2 ( Economics Syllabus Level 3), those courses normally associated with study in Year 12 (Form 6). They will give the student practice in using the theoretical models required for a good understanding of economics in the real world: the supply and demand model of the market, the Lorenz curve analysis of equality and inequality in society, and the production possibility frontier model. The resource material given at the beginning of each assignment, when combined with the knowledge the student has gained in class, In some cases they will need to find further information from other sources. These assignments can be used for homework or for revision. Answers are included in a coloured section which may be removed if the teacher wishes.
