Description
A series of three photocopiable resources which aims to provide teachers, teacher aides and parent helpers with one-on-one targeted support material that will be of particular help to limited-progress children or to assist new language learners. The books in the series are intended for use with other reading materials. Their purpose is to supply additional strategies to the central work of teaching reading - engaging learners with texts. All pages work independently in each book and they contain work on: initial alphabet sounds as they are used at the beginning of words, short vowel sounds as they are used in consonant-vowel-consonant words, simple rhyming words, common word endings, simple consonant blends at the beginning of words, long vowels with a final or 'magic' e, and simple vowel-consonant digraphs.Stock Information
