He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate language/literacy classes and language and cognition classes, and is a researcher in the Wilf Malcolm Institute for Educational Research. He has taught at primary, intermediate and secondary schools and currently provides professional development to schools. He is widely published and a frequent presenter at conferences both in New Zealand and overseas.Author description
